Looking for inspiration and ideas to update your pool? Check out the entries in our 2017 Tara Ultimate Makeover Contest. Pool dealers from across the country are sending us photos of their current pool remodeling projects. We’ll be posting these photos to Facebook and Pinterest so you can see examples of all types of pools being transformed. This will be a great opportunity to find the perfect solution for you backyard.
Starting in June and running through the end of August, our makeover contest will showcase the latest pool remodeling projects. Every week you can visit our Facebook and Pinterest pages to see new entries. The projects range from simply changing a liner to complete makeovers that transform the pool and backyard. We encourage you to like and share the photos that catch your eye. At the end of each month we’ll see which pool makeover received the most interest and that will determine our monthly winner.
One of the great things about this contest is that you see real pools in all types of conditions. No matter what state the pool is in, our Tara dealers are able revitalize them. In the past we have seen pools that were dormant for years with weeds and trees growing in them. Several dealers have been asked to restore pools that had been completely filled in. Even in these extreme cases the finished pool was better that new. So no matter how bad off your pool is, there is no pool that can’t be saved.
Not all of the pools that dealers send in for the makeover contest are disasters. Some just need a little touching up. Usually, a new pool liner will be enough to bring a pool back to life. Installing a new liner can make a huge difference on the look of both the pool and the whole backyard. The colors of the pattern will affect the color of the water which is what you will see most. By coordinating the tile design and with the deck, landscaping and other backyard features, you can create a whole new look.
Maybe your ready to take your pool to the next level. The makeover contest will give you ideas you may have never considered. By adding vinyl covered stairs, a bench or sundeck you could transform how you use your pool. Waterfalls, rock and stone elements and LED lighting can transform your pool into the ultimate backyard vacation. There is no limit to what you can do.
If you’re in the market to update your pool or you just want to see what other pool owners have done to remodel, visit our Facebook and Pinterest pages regularly. All of this year’s entries will be tagged #taramakeovers so you can search to find them all. Don't forget to like and share the ones that inspire you and help us choose the best of the best.
